Seen the 3rd Annual Skipton Beer Festival on Fri 24th Apr 2009 and it was large and really busy.

60 cask ales were stacked in the beer hallway including several mild 's and a full option of paw drew Timothy Taylor 's and Cu Firedrake ale 's accompanied by bottled Continental laagers and a large choice of cyder & Perry.

My favorite on the nighttime included: -

• `` Dave ''3.8 % abv Bitter, a dark, smooth velvety acrimonious from the Great Heck Brewing CO
• Yorkshire Penny4.5 % abv, definitive dry stout from Yorkshire Dales Brewing, Askrigg
• and as these were all gravitation drew a few creamy beer engine drew Cu Dragons and Timmie Taylors.

A rattlingly goodly organised event by Poltroon arm of Camra and the local breweries, goodly deserving a visit next twelvemonth.
